SLIP Pre-Internship Component (PIC) is a challenging five-week development program that offers ninth graders
specific skills training that will help expand their personal development,
post-secondary and career opportunities. SLIPs goal is to ensure that those

they may qualify for the regular St. Louis Internship Program as well as
other opportunities. Participants will engage in personal development,
post-secondary readiness, and career exploration sessions as well as complete
computer literacy classes. The program will be hosted by our collegiate
partners and other organizations. Participants will be able to earn up to
$500 for participation. The deadline to apply is May 20, 2024. |
